'Paris in the Afternoon' Framed, Signed Giclée Artist Proof

Created in celebration of the ‘Celli For Two’ concert hosted by Puddingstone Music Festival in Newport RI at the historic Colony House on Jan 28, 2024 . This rainy day was illuminated by a Parisian adventure through the sites and sounds of Paris and featured this framed giclée of Katie’s painting from her Paris Collection. The music of Barriére, de Boismortier, and Fauré was brought to life by cellists Arlen Hlusko and Frankie Carr in a joyous performance.

This giclée was printed by artist, Katie Swatland on a fine rag paper using pigmented, archival inks. Pigment inks work via microscopic solid colorant particles that are suspended evenly in the liquid carrier as a very fine powder, without ever becoming part of it. This process allows for pristine color capture of brilliant, archival hues.

Elegantly framed in a thin gold tone profile. Simple, modern, and soft, it features the finest archival matboard and conservation glass. Conservation glass provides optimal light transmission while protecting the print and blocking UV rays.

This artist’s proof comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is signed on the front and back and includes the program from this memorable afternoon.
